Koller brings a plethora of banking experience to his new job at UFCU. Over the course of his professional career, he has managed sophisticated financial risk, control, and reporting systems, and has led global teams. He earned his master's degree in business administration from the Berkeley School of Business, per the release.
There are over 366,000 people who are members of UFCU, which covers Galveston County and Central Texas as its service areas. The organization now manages assets worth $4.6 billion. The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) provides insurance for the credit union's funds, and both federal and state regulations determine how the credit union must operate. Since its founding in 1936, UFCU has developed into a financial cooperative that serves more than 250 educational institutions, professional groups, and businesses throughout Central Texas and Galveston County. This expansion has taken place under the leadership of volunteer boards of directors that have been elected by UFCU members.
