The Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) is currently accepting applications for its 2025 Research Fellowship in Texas History. This fellowship offers a $2,000 stipend and is awarded to the best research proposal that makes use of the collections at the State Archives in Austin or the Sam Houston Regional Library and Research Center in Liberty, Texas.
Applicants must submit proposals detailing their research purpose, collections of interest, how their work will enhance understanding of Texas history, dissemination plans, and a curriculum vitae. The fellowship recipient will be required to present their findings at a TSLAC event. Judges have the discretion to withhold the award if necessary.
