The Magoffin Home State Historic Site in El Paso, Texas, has announced the temporary closure of its visitor center located at 1117 Magoffin Ave. due to construction work. The closure is effective immediately and is expected to last until the spring of 2026.

In the interim, visitors are invited to a temporary welcome space inside the Magoffin Home at 1120 Magoffin Ave., which will serve as the central point for tours, orientation, ticket sales, and retail services. Parking facilities remain available at the original location on 1117 Magoffin Ave.

Regular programs offered by the museum will continue without interruption during this period. These include historic cooking classes, family story time sessions, and various special events held within the Magoffin Home.
