The Texas Restaurant Foundation (TRF) has received a $40,000 donation from Good Bourbon for a Good Cause, the non-profit arm of Garrison Brothers Distillery. The funds were raised during the 2024 Hye Steaks Cookoff & Cocktail Competition held in October in Hye, Texas. This event was led by Nancy and Dan Garrison and brought together chefs, mixologists, culinary enthusiasts, and bourbon lovers.

Heather Pickett, Executive Director of the Texas Restaurant Foundation, expressed gratitude for the support: "We are incredibly grateful to Nancy and Dan Garrison, and the entire Garrison Brothers team, for their unwavering commitment to supporting our industry." She noted that the donation will benefit programs including workforce training and scholarships.

Dan Garrison, founder of Garrison Brothers Distillery, emphasized the importance of supporting community efforts: "The restaurant industry is the heart of our communities, and we are proud to support the Texas Restaurant Foundation in their efforts to empower the next generation of industry leaders."

The TRF is focused on education and career advancement within Texas's restaurant and hospitality sectors. It offers initiatives like the Second Chances Program and Pathways Program to provide individuals with career opportunities.
