The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has approved fines amounting to $822,678 against 30 entities for breaching state environmental regulations. The penalties were agreed upon across various enforcement categories: four air quality cases, one Edwards Aquifer case, two industrial wastewater discharge cases, three multi-media cases, one municipal solid waste case, five municipal wastewater discharge cases, one petroleum storage tank case, eight public water system cases, and two water quality cases.
Additionally, on November 26th, December 10th, and December 17th, the executive director sanctioned penalties totaling $204,292 against 75 other entities.
