Texas Capital Chief Information Officer Don Goin described the newly launched Texas Capital Initio as an innovative solution designed to alleviate a common challenge faced by commercial clients.

Texas Capital Bancshares Inc. announced the launch of Texas Capital Initio, a digital onboarding solution in a June 27 news release.

“With a devoted focus on technology and a strong commitment to client-centric solutions, we have transformed the account opening experience for businesses,” Goin said in the release. “Initio represents an innovative solution that addresses a pain point that many commercial clients traditionally face.”

Texas Capital Initio is aimed at transforming the commercial banking experience, the release reported. This proprietary platform streamlines and expedites the account opening process, marking a significant advancement in simplifying and accelerating banking procedures.

“This solution represents the next generation of banking, one fueled by digital transformation,” Nancy McDonnell, head of Treasury Solutions at Texas Capital, said in the release. “As of the first quarter of 2023, Texas Capital now onboards over 70% of all treasury clients digitally with Initio. By reducing the time and effort required for account setup, this technology empowers businesses to focus on their core operations, driving growth and operational efficiency.”

Initio, a cloud-based software application, revolutionizes the account opening process for businesses by allowing them to swiftly establish commercial accounts in a matter of days, surpassing the lengthy timelines associated with alternative methods, the release said. By eliminating the laborious and time-intensive manual procedures typically involved in account onboarding, Initio offers a streamlined and automated solution.

This includes the convenience of electronically submitting essential information and the option for electronic signatures, ensuring a more efficient and seamless experience for users, according to the release.

Texas Capital is a "full-service financial services firm that delivers customized solutions to businesses, entrepreneurs and individual customers," the release reported.
