Cindi Bulla, affiliated with the Amarillo Association of REALTORS, has been named the 2024 Texas REALTOR of the Year. The announcement was made during the Texas REALTORS Winter Meeting. Bulla's real estate career began in 1996, and she has since influenced the REALTOR association and the real estate industry at both state and national levels, as well as her local community in Amarillo.
“Every year, the Texas REALTOR of the Year award is presented to a dedicated individual who demonstrates incredible service to our profession and the public,” said Christy Gessler, chairman of Texas REALTORS. “This year, we’re excited to present this award to Cindi, as her contributions to the real estate profession and her community are innumerable. Her willingness to step up and her determination to get things done benefits REALTORS across the state.”
Bulla initially worked in the mortgage industry before managing projects along I-20 and overseeing large-scale developments. She later became CEO of an Amarillo construction firm and founded Realty Central Services along with TYD Mortgage Services in 2006.
Her leadership roles include serving as Chairman of Texas REALTORS in 2020 and leading various committees within both state and local associations. These include Governmental Affairs, MLS, Strategic Planning at Amarillo Association of REALTORS, and Issues Mobilization, MLS/Technology, Budget/Finance at the state level.
Bulla's accolades include being named Amarillo REALTOR of the Year in 2013, receiving the Women of Leadership Award in 2014, induction into the RPAC Hall of Fame in 2015, and membership in the RPAC Presidents Circle since 2013.
“The REALTOR profession has been a transformational force throughout my life,” said Bulla. “I have met life-long friends through becoming involved in the Amarillo community and have also been honored to advise so many clients in their homeownership journey from start to finish.”
Beyond her professional achievements, Bulla has contributed significantly to civic activities. She has served on Amarillo’s Planning and Zoning Commission and Downtown Design Standards committee. Additionally, she is part of Amarillo’s Partnership for Development Progress. With four decades of volunteer work at Amarillo Little Theater under her belt, she also chairs Plainview Civic Center's Board.
Cindi Bulla resides in Amarillo with her husband Chuck Bulla; they have three children—Cristine White, Angi Williamson, Jonathon Bulla—and five grandchildren. Texas REALTORS anticipates her continued leadership within their organization as well as ongoing engagement within broader community contexts.
