The Texas Hospital Association (THA) has appointed Will Holleman as the new vice president of advocacy and public policy. This decision comes as the organization prepares for the upcoming 89th Texas Legislative session.

Holleman will join THA's lobby team, focusing on various hospital-related issues such as public health, price transparency, commercial insurance, quality and patient safety. His prior experience includes serving as director of government affairs for Raise Your Hand Texas. He also worked at the Texas Association of School Boards and was chief of staff for Rep. Jimmie Don Aycock, who chaired the House Public Education Committee.

Carrie Kroll leads THA’s advocacy team, which includes experienced advocates Sara González and Ben Williams. Holleman's addition brings over a decade of legislative experience to the team.

Founded in 1930, THA serves as a leading advocate for hospitals and health care systems in Texas. It represents more than 85% of acute-care hospitals and health care systems across the state, employing around 400,000 healthcare professionals.
