The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has announced the arrest of Adiah Roberson, a fugitive listed among Texas' 10 Most Wanted. Roberson was apprehended on October 22 following a Crime Stoppers tip, for which a reward will be paid.
Adiah Namir Roberson, aged 17, was captured at an apartment complex in southeast Dallas. The operation involved DPS Criminal Investigations Division (CID) Special Agents from the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in San Antonio and the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force. Assistance was also provided by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and Grand Prairie Police Department.
Roberson had been wanted since July 2024 in Bexar County for murder, after allegedly shooting and killing a manager at a drive-in restaurant. She also faced charges for forgery of a government document in Bexar County.
Texas Crime Stoppers, funded by the Governor’s Public Safety Office, offers cash rewards for information leading to arrests of individuals on Texas’ 10 Most Wanted lists, including fugitives, sex offenders, and criminal illegal immigrants. In 2024 alone, authorities have arrested 39 individuals from these lists with $24,000 awarded for tips resulting in arrests.
To qualify for rewards, tips must be submitted through designated methods and remain anonymous with tipsters receiving a number instead of using their names.
DPS collaborates with local law enforcement to determine who is placed on the Texas 10 Most Wanted lists. Current lists are available online.
