The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has approved penalties amounting to $174,534 against 15 entities for violations of state environmental regulations. The enforcement categories include two air quality, three Edwards Aquifer, two multi-media, one municipal wastewater discharge, one petroleum storage tank, three public water systems, and two water quality.
Additionally, a default order was issued in the multi-media category. On October 15 and October 22, the executive director sanctioned penalties totaling $79,474 against 30 entities.
