Law Enforcement Today Owner: ‘Texas is enforcing the 10th Amendment'

Kyle Reyes, owner of Law Enforcement Today, said that “Texas is enforcing the 10th amendment” by taking control of a public park on the U.S.-Mexico border.

“To everyone freaking out that Texas Department of Public Safety has seized land from the feds, given the feds the boot and effectively declared war on the Biden administration's open border policies, let me educate you on the Constitution,” Reyes posted on LinkedIn. “Article 4, Section 4 puts responsibility on the federal government to protect the states from an invasion.”

“The Tenth Amendment leaves the responsibility to the states if the federal government refuses,” said Reyes. “Texas is enforcing the 10th Amendment. Let's roll.”

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin posted on X that the Texas Military Department has confirmed that the “Texas National Guard has seized control of Shelby Park in Eagle Pass (city property where mass illegal crossings are), and is restricting Border Patrol from accessing the area, saying the Feds ‘perpetuate illegal crossings.’”

"As caravans of migrants are moving through Mexico toward the U.S. border, we are making clear that Texas will be a tough place to cross,” Gov. Greg Abbott (R-Texas) posted on X.
