Executive Vice President Jerome Greener of the Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) has commented on Senate Bill 893 and House Bill 366. Greener said, "While we appreciate the effort of Senate Bill 893 and House Bill 366 to ensure the integrity of our elections, TPPF’s testimony did not adequately reflect the concerns we have with the current language or go far enough in specifying the precise conditions under which we would ultimately support the bills." He expressed a willingness to collaborate with lawmakers, saying, "We look forward to working with the bill authors and committee members to make the necessary changes that would accomplish the goal of protecting voters and the integrity of our elections."
