The Texas Association of Counties is promoting the "Staying Alive in 2025" contest, which runs until March 2. The contest is part of a wellness initiative by WebMD ONE, powered by Healthy County. Participants can earn 15 reward points by logging either 180,000 steps or 900 minutes of physical activity over a 30-day period.
Participants are encouraged to track their progress on the Healthy County Rewards page. Upon completing the ONE Health Assessment, participants can earn up to $75 in rewards for engaging in healthy activities such as contests and condition management programs offered through their county's health plan.
Eligibility for the program extends to all TAC HEBP employees and their covered spouses, including fully pooled TAC HEBP groups. However, retirees are not eligible. Employees from specific ASO groups like Brazos and Comal are eligible for rewards, while those from Hale and Matagorda counties are not.
