Fulton Mansion hosts exclusive themed dinners in historic setting

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

The Fulton Mansion State Historic Site in Rockport, Texas, is set to host a series of exclusive dinner parties for the first time in its history. These events will take place throughout 2025 and offer an intimate dining experience with only eight guests per event.

Guests will dine by candlelight in the mansion's opulent dining room, surrounded by fine china and Victorian-era ambiance. The dinners aim to honor the legacy of George and Harriet Fulton through themes that incorporate Victorian traditions, local history, and entertainment.

The lineup includes four distinct events:

- March 12, 2025: "A Golden Celebration" marks the 150th wedding anniversary of George and Harriet Fulton with a lavish feast.

- July 2025: "A Splendid Seafood Soirée" features a coastal-inspired menu celebrating Independence Day and the maritime history of the Texas Gulf Coast.

- October 2025: "A Murder Mystery Dinner Party" offers an evening of intrigue with a Victorian-style mystery.

- December 31, 2025: "A New Year’s Eve Affair" invites guests to ring in the new year with grandeur reminiscent of Gilded Age celebrations.

Each dinner will include a professionally catered meal, live performances from local artists, and historical storytelling about the mansion's past.

Tickets are priced at $150 per person on a first-come, first-served basis. With limited seating available for each event, reservations are expected to sell out quickly. Interested individuals can secure their seats by contacting Joanne Soward at 361-230-2301 or via email at joanne.soward@thc.texas.gov.
