Greg Sindelar, CEO of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, said the foundation is dedicated to research-based initiatives, aiming to empower states and limit federal intervention in policymaking. Sindelar was a guest on a recent episode of the Texas Talks Podcast.
"At our core, we're a research organization," said Sindelar on a recent edition of the Texas Talks Podcast. "We research a bunch of different public policy issues, mostly at the state level, a little bit on the local and federal level. We operate mostly within Texas, but we do operate in other states as well, trying to take some of the good things that have happened here either to other states or ensure that the federal government is staying out of the way and allowing the states to be what they should be, which is laboratories for democracy, and allowing them to compete."
“We want individuals to have a lot of say in their own lives," said Sindelar.
Sindelar, CEO of the Texas Public Policy Foundation since 2021. According to the website, under his leadership, the Foundation has seen over 25% growth annually. As a non-partisan research institute, the Foundation is dedicated to promoting liberty, personal responsibility, and free enterprise through academically sound research and outreach in Texas and nationwide.
